Michael is a multi-award winning author currently living in Sydney, Australia with their husband of over ten years. Michael is known to have extraordinary cats in their live, starting with Whiskey (who can be seen within the pages of He Was A Boy Who Smiled series), Tigra and currently with the feisty Bastet. Michael has written numerous books crossing all kinds of boundaries and genres. What can they say? They love to write and they don’t tend to stay in a neat little box. For a little over 2 years, Michael volunteered with Western Sydney Rainbow Connection, where they helped create the groundwork for WSRC Writing Competition 2021. They also helped celebrate Pride Month in Penrith, Australia in June 2022, where they facilitated a couple of LGBT+ writing workshops. They also created Story Stones, a writing group that has been hosted by the Penrith City Library. For over almost 10 years, Michael was a primary teacher. After a few years to recover my the homophobia and bullying that led to their resignation and quitting teacher altogether, they started their own publishing business called 12ink.
